What You Can Expect

In this starter course, you will learn how to:

- Apply the fundamentals of constituency advocacy for domestic and foreign policy in the United States. 

- Explore the factors that maximize diaspora advocacy, including relationship building, authentic storytelling, data-driven examples, real world case studies and solution-led approaches. 

- Incorporate and showcase your unique diaspora perspectives and experiences into effective advocacy storytelling

- Use the The Diaspora Academy's 9As Framework to design your own effective diaspora advocacy strategy

- Identify and define your top diaspora advocacy priorities, including your agenda, asks and long-term change goals.
